Awaiting unabridged birth certifcate since July 2013
Department of Home Affairs Randburg Consumer Complaint
In July 2013 I applied for my sons unabridged birth certificate ( ID: 7512080390088), today its the 18th of June 2015 and I still don't have the certificate. I have been given case numbers with the latest being ( 1505059286) and when I call I'm told its still being processed. So Please tell me how am I suppose to travel with my child with this level on incompetence. Even the school thinks I'm making up excuses by not bringing this through?? More...

Change of Surname for my daughter
Department of Home Affairs Randburg Consumer Complaint
I went to Home Affair Randburg six months ago to apply for a change in surname for my daughter. I filled in all the required documents, paid and left. I was told that her new birth certificate would be ready in 6 months. I called them in six months to find out if it was ready and if I could go collect, I was told that there had been a change and my application was not processed (how nice that no one notified me of this).
